ABOUT ME

A weather nerd since birth, I have always had a love and respect for nature. I was five when Hurricane Andrew tracked into Louisiana and was forever inspired to become a meteorologist. But, as a kid, I also had interests in photography. I would ask my mom for disposable cameras to take pictures of afternoon summertime storms - they never turned out great.

I followed my passion for weather and studied meteorology at the University of Oklahoma. My first tv job outside of school took me to Wichita Falls, Texas. During my time there, my boss, now friend and mentor, Kevin Selle, encouraged me to revisit my photography interests.

In 2016, I was adopted by a tiny kitten I named Ciro and received a wonderful opportunity to take my weather career to the Mississippi Coast. Ciro and I packed our boxes and have been loving the beautiful coast ever since.
